University of the Arts London (UAL), Europe's largest university for art, design, fashion, communication and the performing arts, is a vibrant world center for innovation, comprising six internationally renowned colleges.

SAI works with the following UAL colleges to offer students summer and semester programs:

The achievements of UAL students, staff and alumni are the true testament to UAL's success. Alumni regularly receive honors and awards such as the Saatchi Scholarship, the Sunday Times Award, the Jerwood Prize, the Fujifilm Award, British Fashion Designer of the Year, the Turner Prize and the Prince Philip Designers Prize.

London is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The capital's reputation as a multicultural city has been in the making for centuries, and the vibrant mix of nationalities and cultures among its seven million inhabitants is one of the many pleasures of living in the city. UAL's ideal central location in London, allows students to visit museums and galleries, browse the shops and markets or relax in the royal parks. By night students can experience London's exciting nightlife of clubs, restaurants and theaters.

SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of your enrollment including application processing, course selection and credit, housing, student health insurance and transcripts. SAI provides comprehensive student services, beginning with pre-departure and leading to our on-site orientation and advising in London. UAL students are provided with program sponsored field study trips and excursions to fascinating destinations in and around London.

An early gift from SAI: $200 Early Enrollment Discount
SAI recognizes that the economic times have presented difficulties for students wishing to study abroad. Therefore, SAI is pleased to offer an early enrollment gift for the Fall 2010 & Spring 2011 terms.

Students who submit their Fall 2010 application, with application fee, on or before April 15, 2010will receive an early enrollment reduction of $200 off the final payment of their Program Cost.

Students who submit their Spring 2011 application, with application fee, on or before September 1, 2010 will receive an early enrollment reduction of $200 off the final payment of their Program Cost.


Camberwell College of Arts (CCA) [return to top]

Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (CSM) [return to top]
CSM has a distinguished international reputation and offers one of the most diverse and comprehensive ranges of undergraduate courses in arts and design. With alumnae such as Stella McCartney and John Galliano, this outstanding 150 year old institution is considered the world's number one school for Fashion Design. Chelsea College of Art and Design (CCAD) [return to top]
CCAD's Millbank campus situated just a few steps from Tate Britain and overlooking the flow of the Thames, makes CCAD a place that will consistently challenge, inspire, surprise and stimulate students. The College has created a close community of cutting-edge artists and designers by having all of its courses based on one site, leading to different disciplines informing and contributing to each others' practice.

London College of Communication (LCC) [return to top]
LCC's modern central London campus is the best possible springboard for students wanting to progress in the rapidly expanding design, photography, broadcasting, publishing, advertising, film, printing, travel, retailing and media industries. LCC is wired into these industries more than any other UK university. In fact, current partnerships with Apple, Sony, Heidelberg and the London Business School confirm LCC’s position as a premier specialist college. The largest of UAL’s Colleges, with 9,000 students, LCC lists the London Eye, the South Bank film, art and theatre complex, and Tate Modern amongst its near neighbors.

Wimbledon College of Art (WCA) [return to top]
WCA joined UAL in 2006, but was founded in 1890 and is a small specialist art college with an outstanding reputation in fine art and theatre. It has a close-knit and friendly community, international in outlook, far enough away from the center of London to have real space to think and work in, but still just a 15 minute rail journey from the city’s rich cultural resources. The College has excellent studios, workshops, exhibition and theatre spaces, and social facilities, which have recently been further enhanced by purposebuilt postgraduate studios, and a newly refurbished 250 seat theatre incorporating film and sound studios.
